At VJS Joinery Supplies, our Interior Grade Plywood range is designed specifically for non-structural, indoor use where a smooth surface, ease of handling, and aesthetic finish are key. These panels are ideal for cabinetry, furniture, wall and ceiling lining, and bespoke decorative features. All interior plywoods in our collection are non-structural, cost-effective, and easy to work with, whether you’re designing compact spaces like caravans or adding a custom touch to a commercial fit-out. 

Lauan Ply 

Lauan Ply is a popular, lightweight panel made from mixed hardwood species, suited for a wide range of interior applications. Its smooth B-grade face makes it perfect for paint finishes, while its consistent surface allows for easy staining or veneering. 

• Applications: Wall sheeting, ceiling lining, cabinetry, furniture, door skins, and substrate for laminates 
• Key Features: Affordable, easy to cut and finish, attractive appearance, PEFC certified 
• Use: Interior only – not suitable for wet areas or external environments 

Lite Ply – Lightweight Interior Plywood 

Our Lite Ply range is ideal for weight-sensitive builds, especially in the caravan and furniture industries. These panels offer a clean C-grade face (suitable for patching and painting) and a more utilitarian D-grade back, making them both functional and economical. 

• Applications: Caravan cabinetry, ceiling linings, van fit-outs, furniture and shelving 
• Key Features: Lightweight, CD grade faces, B-Bond glue line, smooth and paint-ready 
• Use: Interior only – a great option when ease of transport and installation is needed 

Bendy Ply – Flexible Plywood for Curved Projects 

Bendy Ply (also known as flexible or flexi ply) is your go-to solution for creating curves, columns, and architectural features with ease. Available in Long Grain (lengthwise bend) or Short Grain (widthwise bend) formats, it bends without cracking or delaminating. 

• Applications: Reception counters, curved walls, feature displays, cabinetry, and shopfitting 
• Key Features: Thin core 2-ply construction, E1 low formaldehyde, B-grade faces, minimum 340mm bending radius 
• Use: Interior only – easily shaped with standard tools and ideal for creative designs
