TuffMirror™

Tuffmirror is a highly reflective pyrolytic glass that can be toughened and painted to look like a Tinted Mirror. The main application for Tuffmirror is where a toughened mirror look is required. Tuffmirror does not look like a highly silvered mirror, it is more like a mirror that uses a tinted glass. The reflective coating on Tuffmirror is to the facing surface. All Tuffmirror is backed with a coat of gray paint to ensure no silicon etc can be seen through the glass.

Due to the high reflectivity of the glass, it needs more heat and time to toughen. As a result it can be subject to a little picture framing distortion.
